Lira Voice is paused

We are not taking Lira Voice on right now and are not signing anyone up for it. The pages in this section describe the product as it was built, and are kept so existing readers are not left with dead links. Nothing here is available today.

Everything else on the Lira platform, chat, email, WhatsApp and the widget's own voice button, is live and unaffected. If phone support is what you need, tell us through book a demo and we will let you know when we pick it up.

What Lira Voice is

Lira Voice answers your business phone line. A customer rings your number, and instead of a missed call, a voicemail, or hold music, they get a natural local voice that knows your hours, your prices and your policies, and can answer them there and then.

It answers day and night, never puts anyone on hold, and writes down every call.

Lira Voice is a phone line, not a chat

This is the distinction most people ask about first, so it is worth being precise.

Where it livesWhat the customer does
Lira VoiceYour phone numberDials your business and talks
Lira support widgetYour website and appClicks a bubble and chats or taps a mic

They are separate products that share the same brain. If you already use the Lira widget on your website, Lira Voice adds the phone line beside it. If you have never used Lira before, you can start with the phone line alone.

Lira Voice lives at voice.liraintelligence.com.

Who it is for

Any business where the phone rings more than anyone has time to answer:

  • Restaurants and hospitality taking bookings and orders
  • Clinics and pharmacies answering hours, availability and directions
  • Logistics and delivery chasing addresses and status
  • Retail and e-commerce fielding stock and price questions
  • Schools, agencies, salons, workshops, and anyone else who loses money to a missed call

If most of your customers reach you by phone rather than by web chat, this is built for you.

What a caller experiences

  1. They dial your number, the same one they always have.
  2. Lira answers on the first ring, in the voice you chose, using the name you gave your agent.
  3. They ask whatever they would have asked a member of staff: when do you open, how much is delivery, do you take card, can I book for six on Friday.
  4. Lira answers from what you told it. If it does not know, it says so and takes a message rather than guessing.
  5. The call is written up as a transcript you can read afterwards.

What it does not do yet

Being straight about this saves everyone time. Lira Voice is in early access, which means:

  • Phone lines are switched on in small batches, not instantly. Setting up is self-serve; going live is not yet.
  • Knowledge base (reading your website, uploading documents) and integrations (bookings, CRM, WhatsApp follow-up) are visible in your dashboard but locked until we open them for your business.
  • Payment is not open. Nothing is charged while you set up, and we confirm a plan with you before anything is billed.

See Early access and batches for what that means for you in practice.
