We are not taking Lira Voice on right now and are not signing anyone up for it. The pages in this section describe the product as it was built, and are kept so existing readers are not left with dead links. Nothing here is available today.
Everything else on the Lira platform, chat, email, WhatsApp and the widget's own voice button, is live and unaffected. If phone support is what you need, tell us through book a demo and we will let you know when we pick it up.
Getting started
Setup is self-serve and takes a couple of minutes. Going live comes later, when your batch opens.
1. Try it first, if you like
You do not need an account to hear it. On liraintelligence.com/voice there is a phone on the page: tap the contact and you are on a live call with Fred, our Nigerian voice.
You will be asked for your name and email before the first call so the agent can greet you and we can follow up. Demo calls last 90 seconds, and a countdown on screen shows how long is left so the end never takes you by surprise.
2. Create your account
Go to voice.liraintelligence.com and choose Create account. You can sign up with an email and password, or with Google.
If you sign up with email, we send a 6-digit code to verify the address. Enter it and you are in. Google accounts skip this, because Google has already proven the address.
You will get a welcome email once you are verified.
3. Add your business
Your line, agent and transcripts are saved against a business. If you signed up fresh, you name it on the way in.
4. Two setup steps
Setup opens as a card over your dashboard and asks only what you can answer from memory:
Step 1 — Tell us about your business Business name, industry, and business category.
Step 2 — Which number should Lira answer? Either forward the line you already advertise, or ask us to provision a new one. Pick the country, and a city if you have a preference. You can also leave a WhatsApp number here, which is optional but usually the fastest way for us to reach you while your line is being set up.
That is the whole of setup. There is no payment step, because there is nothing to pay for yet.
5. Finish your agent
The dashboard opens with a banner telling you what is still missing. This is the part that matters most: your hours, prices, policies and personality are what your agent answers callers from.
You fill these in on the Your agent page, at a desk, with your price list to hand. Until they are filled in, the dashboard says plainly that your agent is not ready to answer calls.
See Your agent for what each field does.
Finishing setup does not make your line live
This is worth saying plainly, because it is the thing people most often assume. Completing the two steps and filling in your agent does not switch your phone line on. Lines go live in small batches, in queue order, and we contact you when your batch opens.
What happens after that
- Your batch opens. We work through the queue in order.
- We set up your number. A number is assigned, or your existing line is forwarded, and tested against the answers you gave us.
- You go live. Your agent starts answering, and calls and transcripts appear in your dashboard.
We contact you directly when your batch opens. There is nothing else you need to do in the meantime.
